Our Policy

At L&F Distributors, we are adamantly opposed to underage drinking, not only from a business perspective, but more importantly, because many of our employees are parents too and they share the same concerns as other parents about the welfare of their children.

Our programs to help prevent underage drinking address the issue in many ways, such as helping parents talk with their children about drinking, providing speakers who talk with students about making responsible choices, and assisting those who sell our products in spotting fake IDs and serving responsibly.

Studies have shown that parents are the primary influence on their children’s choices decisions about drinking, and that’s why we’re proud to offer our Family Talk program to help parents start the discusion.

We offer free materials on:

Family Talk
Recognizing that parents have the greatest influence on their children’s decisionsontent about drinking, the Family Talk program helps prevent underage drinking by encouraging open, honest communication between parents and children. Developed by an advisory panel of education, family counseling, child psychology and alcohol treatment professionals, Family Talk materials are available in both English and Spanish. Six million copies have been distributed free to parents and educators by Anheuser-Busch and its nationwide network of wholesalers like L&F Distributors.

College Talk
The College Talk program helps parents talk to their college-bound student about drinking. This program was developed by an advisory panel of authorities in the fields of education, family therapy, student health and wellness, alcohol treatment and social norms marketing, and through conversations with parents and students.
